Hats and hexipuffs

Well, the SweetG hat is finished. I loved making this hat, and can see more of them in the future!
The seller that I bought the Addi needles from only sent me one needle, rather than the two I paid for. Hopefully they are posting the second one today. We'll see................!

Finishing, not starting, projects!

I'm hoping to finish my SweetG hat tonight. It's a Woolly Wormhead design, called Concentricity, that was gifted to me by the lovely Leah, via Ravelry.
I am very bad (good??) at starting projects and not finishing them, and am hoping to get a few WIPs finished over the next few weeks/months. We'll see.................!

Hexipuffs, hats and rabbits

I'm waiting for some new needles to arrive before I knit anymore hexipuffs. I had been using two Knitpro interchangeable needles, but the part where the needle joins the cable was fractionally wider than the needle, and I had to stop and ease the stitches over it each time, which was slowing me down and possibly wearing the yarn. I sent for two short Addi turbo needles at the weekend and am anxiously awaiting their arrival now!
I'm very nearly finished my SweetG hat, and need to look out some fingerless mitt patterns to knit in the same yarn.
The rabbits continue to keep me busy, or should I say, in permanent headless chicken mode!

In the running for "World's worst blogger" award.....

......One of these days I'll update regularly (possibly!)

I've just joined a KAL (knit along) in one of the Ravelry groups that I am in. It's for a fantastic blacket/quilt, called "Beekeeper's Quilt" and is made up of hundreds of knitted and stuffed hexagons. I'm using scraps of sock yarns to make a multi-coloured one, and am really enjoying it so far.

Must get organised!

Well it's been a long while since I posted here....I really need to get myself organised!
I'm just about over my surgery on the 23rd December 2010, and trying to get back to what passes for normal around here ;0)
